About Me

My name is Anya, I’m a registered Nurse with a post graduate certificate in Ultrasound specialising in Gynaecology and Early Pregnancy.  I have 14yrs experience working in the NHS in the Early Pregnancy Unit and Emergency Gynae Unit where I gained a wealth of knowledge in Gynaecology Ultrasound. I am passionate about Women’s Health and understand the need for quick and competent diagnostic care.

I particularly enjoy caring for women and their partners in early pregnancy.  This can be such an exciting but also worrying time and it is such a privilege to be part of this journey with couples.  With over a decade of experience in the Early Pregnancy Unit I am passionate about the care of women who sadly experience a pregnancy loss. It is so important that women receive kind and compassionate care and that their baby and their loss is acknowledged.

I also have 8yrs experience in gender scans and 3d/4d ultrasound.  Being able to share with couples the gender of their baby is a truly unique and amazing experience and one that I never grow tired of!  I love helping parents and other members of their family bond with their baby through ultrasound.  It’s such a special time and to be able to glimpse what goes on inside is truly magical.  From babies grabbing their feet, to nibbling their fingers and sticking out their tongues, it really is an unforgettable experience and one that I am very privileged to be part of.
