Amanda Smith is a Licensed Acupuncturist (LicAc) and member of the British Acupuncture Council (MBAcC). After experiencing the positive effects of Acupuncture on her own health, Amanda trained for three and half years at the College of Integrated Chinese Medicine in Reading. Acupuncture works by stimulating the body's own healing response and treating the body as a whole rather than separate parts, which means it is effective for a wide range of physical, mental and emotional conditions. Amanda has helped many people improve their health with Acupuncture and has had experience treating many different chronic and acute problems including back, neck, knee and shoulder pain, headaches, arthritis, digestive problems, insomnia, depression, stress, anxiety, fertility, IVF support, menstrual problems, menopausal symptoms, pregnancy related problems such as nausea and breech baby, allergies, tennis elbow, carpal tunnel, costochondritis, vertigo and palmar fasciitis. Amanda is passionate about helping people improve their health and wellbeing in a natural and sustainable way.
