The entire focus of therapeutic rehabilitation is to treat the symptoms of injury whilst addressing the underlying cause with the aim to get you moving and performing at your optimum for general fitness and sport.
Treatments consist of a comprehensive consultation and physical assessment to create an individual recovery plan combining remedial massage to alleviate discomfort and restore function and mobility, with exercise therapy to build strength and conditioning to support range of movement and improve spatial awareness.
It is important to recognise and treat the whole person with consideration to nutrition, lifestyle, work and homelife, sleep quality and stress levels for optimum wellbeing.
I hold recognised qualifications in massage, advanced sports nutrition, personal training, fitness instructing, counselling skills, and psychology.
I am further developing this knowledge with the completion of a FdSc in Sports Rehabilitation and BSc in Health and Sports Sciences with Plymouth University.
