I qualified as a counsellor in 2003 and I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy. Since then I have worked in a number of different settings in Liverpool and Manchester. I now practice here in the peaceful setting of Scorrier House at the Blue Lotus Therapy Centre.
Over the years I have helped people deal with issues such stress, depression, anxiety, relationship difficulties, sexuality, work place bullying, ill health, terminal illness and grief amongst many others.
Individuals come to counselling for a multitude of reasons. You may be feeling overwhelmed, under pressure, exhausted or very low. You may not be able to see how things are going to improve. I believe that you are the expert when it comes to knowing yourself. I see my role as helping you to navigate through the complex issues and emotions many of us experience in today’s world.
The process of counselling will help you to feel less alone with these emotions and attempt to give you a clearer vision of how you can move forward with your life in the way you would wish.
During your time with me you can be assured of a warm welcome and place where you will be accepted and not judged. A peaceful and comfortable room will allow you the time and space to explore the issues that have brought you to counselling. You can also be confident that you are working with a qualified professional who is fully insured and supervised, working within the profession’s ethical framework.
