Massage

A manipulation of the body’s muscle tissue and an extremely effective way ofcombating stress and inducing relaxation. It’s benefits are both physical and mental and include the elimination of toxins, relief of muscle soreness, increase of flexibility, strengthened immunity and improved concentration.

Indian Head Massage

Based on the ayurvedic system of healing which has been practiced in India for over a thousand years. The aim of this therapy is to release the stress that has accumulated in the tissues, muscles and joints of the head, face, neck and shoulders. It improves blood circulation and lymphatic flow, frees knots of muscular tension and helps the elimination of toxins and waste products.

Reiki

An ancient form of touch therapy. Invisible and gentle, reiki works to balance a persons’ own energy thus assisting it’s ability to heal on all levels: physical, mental, emotional and spiritual. The whole person is treated rather than specific symptoms leaving them with a feeling of well being.

Karuna Reiki

This system of reiki can be used in conjunction with Usui as it is channelled in the same way. It allows the practitioner to be more precise in directing and fine-tuning the healing energy. Both systems of reiki are equally powerful but they exrpess their power in different ways. Some recipients may feel a more powerful energy flowing around them as it works with 8 different vibrational energies and although gentle it goes very deep very quickly. It facilitates healing allowing it to take place from within the person bringing about deep emotional healing.

Reflexology

This involves the use of specific pressure techniques on the reflexes of the feet or hands which relate to all parts of the body. It helps restore imbalances within the body by removing energy blocks and thus allowing it to flow freely. It encourages the release of toxins and supports the body in the process of self healing.

Diet & Nutrition

Dietary advice can be given on request as part of any of the above therapy sessions. Eating healthily will strengthen the immune system and offer protection against infection and other disorders including arthritis, inflammation, pain & headaches. How many of us realise that specific foods can help with specific diseases. With commitment and support improved health is possible within a very short space of time
