What does ear candling do? Ear Candling is a soothing and relaxing treatment. It calms the mind, and can offer relief from earache, sinus problems, headaches, ear noise, stress and nervousness. It is a safe and effective way of relieving pressure within the ear, head and sinuses. Treatment may also spontaneously improve nasal breathing and sense of smell. What to expect: The ear candle is a hollow tube made from linen, pure beeswax, honey extract, traditional herbs and pure essential oils. The base of the candle is placed in the ear, the tip is lit, and acting as a chimney the candle produces a light suction action. The movement of the flame creates a vibration of air in the ear candle, generating a massage-like effect on the eardrum.
